BLOGGING FEEDBACK

Thank you, dear colleagues, for your participation in our online workshop on blogging and other computer technologies. There are three tasks left for you to do:
  1. Create your blog and share its link in the comment. I will collect all your links in my next post for your convenience.
  2. Post about an interesting teaching method or technology you find effective.
  3. Visit 2-3 blogs of other teachers and leave your comment.
  4. As feedback leave your comment on our interactive board: 

You just double click on any part of the board and add either a comment or a picture or a document or a link or music, whatever you find appropriate. Use your imagination and creativity.

ZOOM MEETING

Welcome to our online meeting "Blogging and other technologies" at 11:00 on April 3.
During the meeting you will:

  • summarise and discuss blogging as an effective online tool for teaching English;
  • get acquainted with other teaching digital platforms and tools, such as padlet.com, zunal.com, Photo Story, zoom.us;
  • (extra) create a blog.

Before joining the zoom meeting, you are recommended to download zoom.us to your computer.

A CLASS BLOG TASK 3

Dear colleauges, the next step is creating your own blog. Please follow the instructions below or in my article in Russian with examples (you can find it on this blog in the section "Методическая копилка").
  1. create your Google account on www.accounts.google.com.
  2. go to www.blogger.com and sign in to create a blog.
  3. give a name to the blog and write its address.
  4. choose a template.
  5. write your first post about any teaching technology you find effective and publish it.
  6. go to Settings and set the English language, save the settings.
  7. go to Settings and make comments possible to be written by anyone with a Google account, save the settings.
  8. upload a picture to your post.
  9. add an URL of a webpage.
  10. create a Google document on Google Drive and share it.
  11. go to Layout and add a new gadget – Link list.
  12. add the Google document to the Link list.

If you have problems with creating a blog, tomorrow at 11:00 on April 3 in our zoom meeting after we summarise and discuss our online studying, I'll create a new blog with adding all the gadgets to demonstrate how to works. You will be able to create your blogs simultaneously.
