  1. I explored your wonderful blogs, I found them really up-to-date and especially topic about animals(hunting and animals in circuses) is very urgent! I totally agree with a lot of students who wrote that it must be stopped and really if we care about our planet and situation in the world we should do something to stop it! What concerns teaching, students develop their writing skills by commenting, they learn how to express their thoughts, reading skills by reading each other comments, listening by watching video and listetning to the stories .

  2. Hello to everyone! Your school blogs is a great idea to inspire students to take part in after lessons discussions. This activity definitely helps to develop reading, listening, writing and speaking skills, because they communicate, express their ideas in written form, read other points of view and watch different videos :)

  3. Thank you, Kristina and Tatsyana, for sharing your thoughts. I also use online discussions as a platform preparing for the in class discussions and debates. Students feel more confident when they express their opinion after they have written it on the blog and after they have read their classmates' ideas.

  5. Good evening to everyone! I’ve explored this wonderful blog and realized that the questions that are reflected here are really interesting and modern. I think this blog is a really great foundation for the pupils who wants to learn English and develop their skills. I think the main principle which is reflected here is the principle of communicative orientation in education. I was surprised with the students’ creativity in their videos within the project "Interviews with a sports star". Students' essays on the topic of hunting wild animals were also a pleasant surprise. I think this project is a good way to draw students' attention to one of the most important environmental problems. As for the development of reading and listening skills, numerous posts with relevant video materials and texts serve for this purpose. Summing up, I can't help noticing the usefulness of this blog for the educational process and the development of various students’ skills. I express my appreciation for your work and for the opportunity to see its results.

  7. Good morning! Thank you for your task! First of all I'd like to answer one of the questions from the previous comments: whether these blogs help to develop speaking skills) Absolutely they do! You choose the topics (as example, Love to Hiroshima) , which can touch hearts and inspire students to be active in expressing their ideas and sharing emotions, which definitely improves their speaking skills. While reading the necessary information and writing comments students also improve their reading and writing skills. Listening to authentic speech helps students to appreciate and "feel" the English language. Thank you for the ideas!

    1. P. S. I've supposed that you've explored and discussed the tragedy in Hiroshima before making an art work. Am I right?

    2. Sure, Anna! I showed a video to my students and we discussed the tragedy before they participated in the contest. By the way, one of our student became a finalist of that year's contest.

  9. Hello! First of all I want to thank you for wonderful examples of the class blogs! I think they're amazing! As for your question, I absolutely agree that this type of work can improve students' skills, especially writing and listening. I think that it is more easier for shy and not very active students to write down their thoughts on different topics than to say it orally in class discussion. As for listening skills, students have more extra material here to watch and to listen to.
